Dr. Mike Irr, DPT, CSCS

For 13 years, Mike Irr served as a Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at the pinnacle of professional sports—the NBA. His career is defined by elite performance and durability, highlighted by his tenure with the Golden State Warriors (2015–2018). There, Mike was an integral part of the performance team that secured two NBA Championships and maintained player health during the historic 73-win season.
Mike’s expertise is rooted in results. During his final season with the Atlanta Hawks (2023), his programming helped the team finish as the third healthiest in the league. His journey in NBA began as the youngest lead strength coach in American pro sports with the Charlotte Hornets, following his start as an assistant strength coach with the Chicago Bulls.
Now, Mike brings that same championship pedigree to Alpha Athletic Development. Merging his background as a licensed physical therapist with elite performance coaching, Mike designs programs that are as safe as they are effective.
